Suicidal thoughts plagued Tracy Morgan after his accident

Semi-truck accidents are some of the most horrible accidents that can occur. For people who survive the accident, especially if someone else died in the accident, the emotional and mental effects of the accident can be severe. Almost two years ago, comedian Tracy Morgan was involved in a horrible semi-truck accident that severely injured him and killed his friend. Recently, it has come to light that Morgan contemplated suicide after the accident.

If you recall, Morgan was in a coma after the accident. During that time, he says that he visited the afterlife and met with his deceased father. When he came out of the coma, he had to learn to walk again. All of the limitations, the accident, and the loss of his friend weighed heavily on his mind.

Morgan noted that in his afterlife meeting with his father, his father told him that his room wasn't ready yet. That led Morgan to believe that he still had things to do on Earth, including raising his family.

In the two years since the accident, Morgan has learned how to walk, but he does have a limp. He still suffers from memory issues and headaches but notes that he feels funnier than ever. He is ready to start doing comedy performances again.

Morgan's case goes to show you that the effects of a semi-truck accident go far beyond the physical injuries and can last longer than it takes those physical injuries to heal. If you have suffered from an injury caused in a semi-truck accident, you might decide to seek compensation to help you cover the costs associated with the accident.
